Dr. Tara Poostchi practices as a general dentist with substantial experience in fillings, crowns and bridges, veneers, extractions, dentures, Invisalign, and root canals. She also has expertise in a number of cosmetic procedures to help patients look and feel their best, including teeth whitening and Botox. Born in Shiraz, her drive and passion for healthcare and dentistry led her to move on her own to pursue her goals of giving back to the community. She graduated cum laude from UCLA and then obtained a master's in Biomedical Sciences. She received her doctorate from NYU College of Dentistry. She served as vice president of NYU aesthetics society and has been mentored by the top leaders in general and cosmetic dentistry. She further honed her skills during her general practice residency at Montefiore Hospital.
