Dr. Amarpreet Suri, DDS
Cosmetic and Implant Dentist
Dr. Amarpreet Suri was born and raised in New Jersey in a close knit family. She loved working with her hands and was always the go to person for getting things done whenever something needed fixing. She grew up fascinated by medicine and always knew she wanted to spend her life serving others. It was only fitting that dentistry allowed her to work closely with her hands, be artistic in her craft and help create beautiful and healthy smiles for her patients!
Educational Background
Dr. Suri pursued a major in Biological Sciences and minor in Psychology at Rutgers University and then went on to receive her Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry. She loved surgery and prosthodontics during dental school and excelled in the clinical setting when taking care of her patients. She was part of the Program for Survivors through Bellevue Hospital, which allowed her team of doctors to treat people seeking asylum and refuge in the United States as a fourth year dental student.
Dr. Suri then moved on to a General Practice Residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. She worked closely with specialists in Oral Surgery and Endodontics to refine her clinical skills. After residency, she entered private practice and continued learning as she joined the two year Surgical and Implantology Fellowship at New York University College of Dentistry. She was trained with some incredible doctors that have served as mentors and motivated her to be the best version of herself for her patients.
Fun Facts!
Dr Suri enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, who is her high school sweetheart and with whom she then went to undergrad and dental school! They share their passion for dentistry and are constantly learning from one another. They love spending time outdoors, exploring new places and cuisines, especially right here in New York City.
Practice Philosophy
Dr. Suri’s practice philosophy is to leave her patients feeling and functioning better than they were prior to seeing her. She spends ample time educating patients on their care and discussing the best treatment options for them. She believes in thorough post operative and home care so patients have the tools that they need to be successful. She is continuously learning so that she can provide the best care.
